I found an awesome new "Kathy" carry-on that I just so had to have. Its so cute...red with pleats in the front and some bling going on! Its "so" me, as my family told me. I will post some pictures of that when I arrive in our destination tomorrow!
Please follow my blog as I will try to post things daily because I will be sitting on the beach resting and writing! I am also excited to have some precious alone time with GOD. Its like a personal retreat with the MAN! Its so exciting to be able to have a direct line to HIM. I want to pour into some good bible study and just get a brand new perspective on my life for 2010. I had a woman that came to our church speak over my life, and then 2 gents that has also spoke words into my life that I want to just soak them all in. You know how "life" is sometimes? I don't know about you but MY life is CRAZY! Oh my life is good, its great, its blessed, BUT I am NON-stop and sometimes HE puts the breaks on for me to stop and listen, and I am ready for that. I need to get alone with HIM to get a clear DEEPER focus on who I am as an individual in GOD and to gain rest and restoration needed for my busy life! LOL. I am ready to express myself in a new way. I am ready to connect at a deeper level to help strengthen MY love for the people in my life. Having this time alone with God is a wonderful way to confront what we need to confront so we can grow like a beautiful flower.
Galatians 5:22 – 25:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. In these verses from Galatians, the words “love,” “joy,” “peace,” “gentleness,” and “goodness,” immediately fill us with a gratitude to the Creator for His deep and abiding devotion to us. He is GOOD…and His Spirit fills us with His goodness, wraps us in His love, comforts us with His peace, and calms us with His gentleness – and define what true, lasting, and eternally accessible “joy of the Lord” is made up of.

I want to be a walking testimony of God’s glory on our earth today – truly “a blossom in eternal bloom!”
