As I start the moving process to our new home, God reminded me of the verse that I have carried with me with every house that we have moved into.Matthew 7:24-27
24-25"These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on solid rock. Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit—but nothing moved that house. It was fixed to the rock.
26-27"But if you just use my words in Bible studies and don't work them into your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who built his house on the sandy beach. When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a house of cards."

Proverbs 14: "A wise woman builds her house, while a foolish woman tears hers down by her own efforts." OR this translation Lady Wisdom builds a lovely home; Sir Fool comes along and tears it down brick by brick!! I want to be "lady wisdom"! I like it!! HootHoot!
I have went through the "material girl" phase and material things ARE NOT important to me any longer. Oh I love to have nice things, I love to have pretty things and I know God likes me to have them but I don't "build" my home on those "things" anymore. A house is NOT a HOME without GOD!! I try every single day to be the best wife and a mom, with HIS help!!! My heart is to BUILD MY HOME ON THE ROCK!!! Speak into my husband and children lives daily!! Lift them up, encourage them, tell them they are wonderful...and show them MUCH LOVE!! I want to be an influence to my family by praying with them and for them! I want to have in impact on their life. I want them to see GOD in me every single day, and I know that is super hard. But hey I do try!!! Galatians 6:9 So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith. :O)
I feel that its my relationship with God that defines ME...NOT NOT NOT my material goods!!!
2 Corinthians 9:8 God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out.This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.

So I refuse to "keep up with the JONES" so to speak!
So Father GOD,
Please let Wisdom be my best friend and NOT my MasterCard, and help me to choose to keep up with wisdom and not the Jones´s!!!
